Today's cards feature the Never Give Up stamp by Serendipity Stamps...I think this is such a wonderful image to create a card for a friend or family member who needs a little support. I know anyone would love to receive a little hug in the mail when they're going through a tough time.

I stamped the image by masking all lines of the sentiment except the one I was working on. I then inked each line separately using dye inks in different colors. I mounted the sentiment with three layers of matching cardstock, using foam tape between some of the layers for dimension. Finally, I mounted my layers onto a 4x4 card.

And of course I added a few purple stars for some bling!

I decided to make another card using the same stamp but with different colors. I can't decide which color palette I like best...what do you guys think?

For this card I decided to bling it up using some iridescent sequins. I can't seem to make a card without adding at least a little bling!

Thanks so much for visiting my little corner of the world today! Wishing you good luck on the blog hop!

Have an awesome week!

Today's card features Serendipity Stamp's cool Train On Track image. I'm still a bit into the spirit after my Christmas in July card so I decided to make another holiday card! I think this would be a great card for the man in your life...even big "boys" love trains!
My late grandfather was a train engineer on the Southern Railroad so I colored this engine in green in honor of him.

The fun thing about this image is that you can design it any way you like. I decided to create a wintery scene but I also think this would make a beautiful fall card...instead of white snowy hills and trees you could color your image in the beautiful fall colors of orange, yellow, and brown!
I first stamped my image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white paper. I then colored my image using Copic Markers. I added some greys into the "snow", since snow isn't purely white but a blend of white and shadows.
After coloring, I cut the image out using an oval die and then added some ultrafine transparent glitter  with clear glue. I also added a few details on the train with a clear gel pen.

After the train image was finished, I began putting my card together.  I cut a black snowy A2 backdrop using patterned paper and placed it on a pre-prepared black A2 card. I then cut two fishtail banners from patterned paper and glued them to my card.

I die cut two squares with cutout corners, one from heavy cardstock and one from patterned  paper and layered these together. I put foam tape between all the layers and popped them up from the background. I think the foam tape adds such a nice touch as you can see in the photo below.

Finally, I added some red twine and some glossy red enamel dots to finish it all off.

For the inside of the card, I stamped Serenity Stamp's Love and Joy onto white cardstock and cut it out using a rectangle die. I layered this with some mats in red and olive green colors, and finally added more patterned papers.

Thanks for visiting today...hope you all have a wonderful week!
