It's also time to make Halloween cards and I was so inspired by Serendipity Stamp's Spider stamp! That cute little spider with his wiggly legs is just TOO cute! My card is a little "outside the box" in that I used some non-traditional Halloween colors with the addition of the pink, lime green, and purple hues.

To make this card, I first stamped the spider onto Copic X-Press It paper with Memento's Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored the background with a BV0000 marker and colored the rest of the spider with RV52, RV55, BVo1, and BV02. I cute the image out with a circle die and layered it on top of a larger black circle.

I then created an A2 sized card from black cardstock and layered a colorful piece of dotted patterned paper on it.

I cut out a fishtail banner using hot pink cardstock and placed it in the center of the card. I popped up my spider circle using foam sheeting and placed it onto the banner. I then cut out the Boo die three times, stacked them, and glued them on top of one another. This gave my sentiment a little height without having to try to put foam tape or foam sheeting behind it.  I then placed this element onto my card. I applied some glossy accents to my spider's body and legs, some purple jute twine, and some pink sequins to finish off the front of my card.

For the inside of my card, I stamped Serendipity's Witching You stamp and colored in the tiny pumpkin "o" with Copic YR04 and Y17. I added more glossy accents to the pumpkin and then mounted this on black and purple cardstock rectangles. I used a strip of coordinating patterned paper to line the entire left edge of my card and placed my sentiment over the bottom paper.

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you get lots of treats and very few tricks!
