Hi Everyone!
I hope you're all doing well and enjoying this winter season! It's still cold here in Atlanta, but for us crafters it's time to start thinking about SPRING! I like to make a few Easter cards to send to friends and family, and now is a great time for me to start...I just love coloring Springtime images and dreaming about the season to come!
Before I share my card with you, please know that today is the first day of Serendipity Stamp's first BLOG HOP for the month of February!

For today's card I colored the Judy's Easter Basket Large image. This stamp is the stamp of the month and is 50% off throughout the month of February! I love it because it's such a nice large image and it fills an A2 card very nicely.
I colored my image with Copic markers. After coloring it, I decided I wanted some extra dimension so I restamped the image, colored the eggs again, and fussy cut several of the individual eggs. I used a paper sculpting tool to create an "egg shape" on each piece. I then used a drop of silicone glue to adhere the individual eggs on top of the original image. I'm not sure if you can see it very well in my images, but the effect of the individual eggs "popping out" of the basket gives it a dimensional or 3-D effect.
I also added some tiny gemstones to some of the eggs for a bit of bling.
I cut out my image, added a small border with some lavender Stardream cardstock, and mounted this with some foam tape on top of a plaid paper from my stash.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. As always, thanks for visiting my blog and good luck on the hop!!
